Description

Brand characteristics

The BIONIKA SGD implant system is compatible with the SGS® D platform and utilises a conical and hexagonal (Cone & Hex) connection, providing a stable, micromovement-free fit and efficient load transfer.

The implant’s tapered, anatomical root-shaped body design enhances bone compression and ensures high primary stability across various bone qualities. The spirally micro-grooved surface improves the bone-to-implant interface, while the self-cutting thread facilitates insertion and reduces bone stress.

The platform switching technology supports bone level preservation and stabilises soft tissue closure. The BIONIKA SGD system offers a reliable, precise, and biologically optimised solution for implant procedures compatible with the SGS platform.

Indexed Cylindrical Abutment with Implant-Level Connection for Custom Digital or Conventional Restorations

The Tubular abutment, positioned is a precision implant-level component that allows for the stable and repeatable fixation of screw-retained crowns, bridge frameworks, or custom abutments. Its indexed configuration ensures that a defined flat surface or apex on the connection is always aligned in the same direction relative to the top part of the restoration upon reinsertion. This enables precise fit and consistent restoration orientation, particularly in multi-implant cases.

The cylindrical design is well-suited for restorations manufactured via CAD/CAM or conventional methods and is especially advantageous when prosthetic axis alignment, contact point control, and aesthetic integration are critical.

Main Advantages:

  • Indexed configuration: Ensures the abutment is always positioned in the same orientation upon reinsertion.
  • Implant-level connection: Stable and precise fixation directly to the implant.
  • Universal cylindrical shape: Reliable foundation for screw-retained crowns and bridges.
  • Compatible with digital and conventional workflows: Flexible application in dental laboratories.
  • Biocompatible titanium: Tissue-friendly, sterilisable, and designed for long-term use.
  • The screw is included.

Indications:

The Tubular abutment, positioned is an excellent choice for implant-level custom restorations, especially where accurate repositioning and orientation stability are essential—such as in multi-unit restorations, CAD/CAM-designed components, or crowns in the aesthetic zone.
